Core Roles and Responsibilities:

Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to all patrons, ensuring a welcoming and enjoyable experience.
Beverage Preparation: Prepare and serve a variety of coffee, beer, cocktails, and other beverages according to established recipes and standards.
Maintaining Cleanliness: Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the cafe, bar, and dining areas, including regular cleaning of equipment and surfaces.
Payment Handling: Processing payments from customers using the provided payment methods - cash and digital. Management of the cash draws.
Menu Knowledge: Have a thorough understanding of the menu offerings, including ingredients, allergens, and preparation methods, to assist customers with their selections.
Upselling: Proactively suggest additional items and upsell menu items to increase sales and enhance the customer experience.
Compliance: Adhere to all health and safety regulations, food handling guidelines, and alcohol service laws to ensure a safe and legal environment for patrons and staff.
Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other staff members to maintain a cohesive and efficient work environment.

Required Skills and Abilities:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong multitasking abilities, with the capacity to handle multiple orders simultaneously.
Attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and calculating orders.
Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques, beer varieties, and cocktail mixing preferred but not required (training will be provided).

Qualifications and Key Features of the Role:

1 years experience in a similar position
Experience in either bar service/cocktails or Café/barista service
Food handling experience.
Must be of legal age to serve alcohol in the respective jurisdiction.
A passion for providing excellent customer service and creating memorable experiences for guests.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow within the role and the organisation.
